At Light of the World we place a great deal of hope in the promise Jesus made that “Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I will be (Matthew 18:20).” It is this promise that provides our direction for our small groups.

We have a set of small groups that have been meeting on a regular monthly basis rotating at various members’ homes. These groups gather for fellowship and study on a variety of topics.

In addition we have a variety of community based small groups that are primarily interest based. These groups focus more on Christian fellowship by identifying common interests such as moms with young children, softball, motorcycle enthusiasts and even chicken wing devotees. The purpose of these groups is to provide a welcoming atmosphere of Christian fellowship for friends and neighbors who might otherwise not consider an invitation to attend a church service.
